The 2022 Nebraska Arts Advocacy Day took place on Wednesday, February 16th. Due to the high COVID-19 numbers, the event was held virtually.
Each year, arts advocates, organization leaders, and patrons from across the state come together to speak with our Nebraska legislators about the importance of supporting the arts and arts education.
The event typically involves updates on state and federal policies that impact the arts, advocacy training, networking opportunities, and other professional development sessions. Attendees are also connected with their State Senators, so they can voice their support for any arts-related legislation in the Nebraska Legislature.
